What do you do?
I am part of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse. I work through the faculty's cooperative agreement with the National Park Service Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation, based in Brookline, Mass. My work involves preservation planning for cultural landscapes in the National Park System (Cultural Landscape Reports, treatment plans--written and graphic documentation). Through the cooperative agreement, I assist the faculty in using Olmsted Center work in design studios, history lectures, and as student internships and graduate design projects. On the other end, the Faculty of Landscape Architecture provides the Olmsted Center with opportunities to do work that it normally cannot do.

How did you get your current job?
Through my graduate work at SUNY ESF in landscape architecture.
