Introduction
The mission of the Careers in the Common Good program is to support Middlebury students and alumni interested in pursuing careers that promote social responsibility. This mission builds upon a long tradition that has been fostered at the College, from the first Peace Corps volunteers who served in the early 1960s, to the alumni who have founded and led organizations such as Seeds of Peace and Save the Children, to the very active and engaged students on campus today, who are affiliated with a range of mission-driven organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Middlebury Initiative for Sustainable Development, and the Volunteer Services Organization.
This Web site is designed to highlight some of the many resources available to help you translate a passion for social responsibility into a viable and satisfying career.
