Recruited Internships in Finance/Banking
Each year several financial services institutions, including the top Wall Street banks, recruit Middlebury students for paid Summer Analyst positions. Firms primarily seek juniors and typically make offers to 80% of the Summer interns for full time jobs after graduation. Accordingly, these internships are very competitive; participating students need to pay close attention to the early deadlines.
Middlebury Programs:
Juniors – may apply to a variety of Summer Analyst and general Winter Term positions. Summer internship application deadlines begin in November and campus interviews are usually in January. Winter Term Internship information can be found Here.
Sophomores only - may apply to a Winter Term internship at Lehman Brothers.
First-Years and Sophomores – may apply to fall and spring Externships, typically at Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, or Morgan Stanley. Check the MOJO Calendar for the exact dates which vary each year. Typical firms participating include, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley.
NOTE: Juniors studying abroad in the spring may participate in an early resume collection at select banks. Juniors studying abroad the full year should make individual arrangements at the firms prior to departing.
