An Environmental Consulting & Management company is looking for Entry
level Geologists and or Engineers. This job will require direct field
work doing soil and water sampling, installing monitoring wells, and
supporting site assessments. There will be some report writing and
feasibility studies. The ideal candidate will be working on MCP,
Retail, Petroleum projects, heating oil spills, and other site
assessments. . B. S. in Geology or Environmental Engineering. No prior
work experience necessary.
Ch2m Hill, Philadelphia, PA: Entry Level Hydrogeologist
Our Philadelphia office has an excellent opportunity in their Water Business group for an entry-level Hydrogeologist. In this role you will be able to apply the skills you have gained in school to work on specific tasks associated with aquifer testing, water quality sampling and hydrogeologic interpretation. In addition you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects with municipal, federal, and private clients in the mid-Atlantic and northeastern US.

Staff-level geotechnical engineer, working under the supervision of licensed professional and geotechnical engineers
-Perform field geotechnical investigations (borings, CPTs, test pits)

Assist with environmental data management and presentation in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office. This is a full time summer position that could be extended full or part time through December. The ideal candidate for this position will be a civil or environmental engineering, geology or environmental science student that has completed their Jr. year. Excellent computer skills are required. Experience with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ARCView are beneficial.
Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, Seasonal Interpretive Naturalist
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is seeking Interpretive Naturalists to work at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary; a 15-acre native plant garden in the heart of Minneapolis.
Applied Hydrology Associates, Hydrologist Intern
Work will consist primarily of environmental permitting and compliance of coal bed methane (CBM) operations, field work, and database development. Position requires a detail-oriented individual with good writing skill and experience with several of the following computer applications: Excel, ArcView GIS, ACCESS, AUTOCAD, SEDCAD, HECRAS. Course work or prior experience with soils, surface water hydrology and water quality would be beneficial.

Dinosaur Education Interns master both informal teaching focused in Dinosaur Hall as well as more formal classes for children in grades K-8 on topics such as dinosaurs, evolution, taxonomy and geology.
