Interns assist with biographical and reference work, providing readers' services, cataloging information, as well as filing and copying.
Center for Psychological and Social Change (MA)
Various projects which interns may work on include: designing and setting up a database for research and applications regarding psychological and social change for sustainability, coordinating sales and distribution of literature, research foundation prospects and providing grant-writing support.
Center for Women's Studies and Services(CA)
Students' responsibilities include helping out on the hotline, speaking on violence against women and other related issues and helping with the emergency shelter.
Department of Health and Human Services(MD)
Interns participate and observe all stages of research from protocol design to volunteer screening or data collection and analysis; may observe diagnostic interviews with patients and can become familiar with standard psychometric procedures; and attend weekly research meetings.
