Welcome to a year of opportunity that is the senior experience! Career Services encourages you to take advantage of numerous programs and services. The Senior Program is designed to help you navigate the many life choices you will be making as you prepare for and evaluate your postgraduate plans. It includes:
Career Counseling If you would like assistance in identifying career fields of interest, launching your job search, or applying to graduate school, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of our career counselors. A quick brainstorming session may lead to a new sense of direction. We are happy to speak with off-campus students over the phone or via e-mail. Several of our counselors are qualified to offer interpretation for two self-exploration tools, the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Strong Interest Inventory, both of which can be taken in our office. Career Conversations Throughout the year, CSO welcomes alumni and special guests back to campus for topic-specific presentations. These career conversationsa are a great way to get exposure to various fields in an informal setting. They are also a good place to hone your networking skills by speaking with the presenter during the question-and-answer period that follows every session.
Career Directions Bigger and better for the class of 2009! We are offering major and industry-based programs to support a wide array of interests. State your industry preferences on your MOJO profile and we will send you timely Career Directions updates. You can also see counselors who specialize in selective career directions. Careers in the Common Good A spotlight on fantastic socially responsible career opportunities. Indicate your interest on your MOJO profile and we will update you on upcoming events and programs.
