Where is the shop?

The Bike Shop is located in the basement of Adirondack House which overlooks Adirondack Circle on Rt. 125. The door to the bike shop faces Ross Commons and is marked by a hanging bike wheel.

When is the shop open?

The shop is open from 4-10pm Monday through Thursday and 4-7pm Friday and Saturday. Be sure to look out for the "open" sign as the shop may be open at other times also.

How can I get a free bike?

Over the years, the college has collected nearly 100 bikes that have been abandoned on campus.  At the Middlebury Bike Shop you can choose any one of these bikes, fix it up, and claim it as your own!  All you have to do is attend three FREE maintenance classes covering the basics of tires and tubes, brakes and shifting, and bottom and top brackets.  Or, if you know what you're doing you can get special approval by an experienced shop mechanic and dive right in.
