Welcome to the Middlebury College Organic Garden!

In the fall of 2002 students, faculty, staff and area community members established a small organic garden (Middlebury College Organic Garden, MCOG) within walking distance of the college campus. MCOG is fast becoming an important asset to Middlebury College through environmental excellence, academic involvement and community connections.
Summer 2008 marks the 6th growing season in the Organic Garden. Our focus is on returning more to the land than we take out through use of Middlebury College's compost, green manures and striving for optimum rather than maximum production. We sell our produce to the Middlebury Dining Services and some local restaurants, while actively avoiding competition with local growers.
Please contact us if you would like to know more or for information about donating time or resources to our project!
