Transportation needs are one of the main sources of Middlebury College's environmental impact.  We strive to minimize these impacts through initiatives such as ZipCars, the bike repair shop, MiddRides, the Snow Bowl shuttle bus, and the online ride board.

ZIP Cars Come to Middlebury

Middlebury College has signed an agreement with ZipCar, the world’s largest car-sharing company, starting a program on campus designed to expand the transportation options available to students, faculty and staff.

  Middlebury Bike Shop

The Middlebury Bike Shop is a student-run, college-owned facility open to all members of the Middlebury College community and dedicated to promoting cycling on campus and teaching bicycle maintenance. Looking for a bike?  Stop by the basement of Adirondack House, take three FREE classes to learn bike maintenance skills, and then fix up one of the 100 bikes that have been abandoned on campus over the years.  When you're done it's yours to keep!
