Middlebury Police add two investigators to team looking into student's disappearance

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. — The Middlebury Police Department has added two investigators to the team looking into the disappearance of Middlebury College student Nicholas Garza ’11.

In other developments:

  • The FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit has been asked to analyze case information in an effort to determine Nick Garza’s frame of mind on the night that he went missing.
  • The Vermont State Police and Equusearch, a search and recovery agency from Texas, have decided not to continue the physical search of the Middlebury College campus until the snowcover has receded significantly.
  • A second search of all rooms and roofs at the College has been completed and has not turned up anything.
