Mission of the Sponsored Research Office

The mission of the Sponsored Research Office is to ensure that the College and its faculty are positioned to submit grant proposals to the federal government and other sponsors. The SRO supports an engaged and active faculty by providing advice and assistance at all stages of grant-seeking and grant administration. The highest priorities for the SRO are grant proposals with impending deadlines and time-sensitive issues related to grant administration. The SRO also oversees institutional endorsement procedures, provides technical writing assistance, and monitors College compliance with sponsor requirements.

Mission of the Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations

The mission of the Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations is to support College initiatives through the identification, research, cultivation, and solicitation of corporations, foundations and federal agencies. First priority for institutional programs is to obtain the largest amount of support for the least restrictive purposes in order to build endowment, and support budgeted programs. Second priority is to address approved new projects that would not be undertaken without grant funds.
