Matric 11s: want to matriculate in fall 2011 (not student's Middlebury graduating class)
meeting in October of first year (or sophomore year, if unable to attend first year): introduction to the Midd process.
meeting re: applying to medical school September 30, 2009 [for students still at Midd only]
bio report turned in by 11/9/09 deadline
2 recommendations rec'd by HP office by 12/1/09
committee interviews January/early February '10 [alums come back to campus for these]
Kaplan prep courses (one option) for April MCAT offered on campus beginning 2/20/10
committee reviews candidates March-April '10
meeting re: application process April '10 [again, only for students still at Midd]
MCAT spring or early summer '10
recommendation letters all in by May 14, 2010 [if from a spring-semester class, special arrangements can be made for early-summer submission]
bio report update done by June 15, 2010
primary [AMCAS, VMCAS, AACOMAS, or AADSAS] application submitted June/early July '10
complete list of schools sent to HP Office on Dossier Request form immediately following primary-application submission
dossiers, including committee letter, out summer/fall '10
interviews at med schools fall '10 through spring '11
decisions from fall '10 on (waitlists summer '11)
matriculate into medical school fall '11
