Appeal Process for Initial Placement in Staff Compensation (must be submitted to Ellen Usilton, Compensation Manager, by August 1, 2007)
Although great care was taken to provide an inclusive and fair process for job placement, a staff member may disagree with the initial placement of their position in the new staff compensation structure (Career Bands and Levels). When this is the case, the employee may appeal the original placement of the position and the Wage and Salary Committee will perform a “reasonableness check” to ensure the placement guidelines were properly followed and, if necessary, to recommend a change in placement.
