Primary Purpose

Acts as liaison between Admissions Office and prospective students and provides general office services for Department.  Acts as liaison between Admissions Office and Alumni College fair volunteers.

Responsibilities

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.

*Responds to all requests for college fairs/assigns alumni to college fairs.
*Answers questions regarding admissions, interviews, tours and other areas.
*Answers phones and routes calls properly.
*Receives and processes requests for information and materials from prospective students.
*Schedules appointments for interviews and sends confirmations; types daily appointment schedule and gathers appropriate files.
*Meets and greets prospective students and parents.
*Replenishes supplies as needed.
*Assists Admissions staff in special projects and mailings as needed.

Education & Training

High school diploma or equivalent with data entry training required.  Some college preferred.

Experience

2-3 years previous clerical experience in secretarial/clerical position required, or equivalent training.

Knowledge

Data entry knowledge and computer skills required.  Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, E-mail, Internet, and the web preferred.
