Organizes and implements football recruiting process: orders sports data (hard copy & disk); reviews and selects (from hard copy) athletic candidates based on pre-determined criteria.
Corresponds with large initial pool of candidates, continually conducting follow-up correspondence determined by eligibility.
Maintains and updates athletes' computerized records.
Coordinates logistical and administrative arrangements for football recruiting season: literature, statistical reports, confirmation correspondence and visitor's arrival information.
Prepares offensive/defensive playbooks utilizing Canvas (a Mac drawing program.)
Works with football team in preparation for football season: summer strength training packets, pre-season team activities (coordination and record-keeping, collections and deposit of activity fees, and preparation of vouchers for payment of sites).
Assists in necessary preparation of publication of Football Program: prepares correspondence (alumni, parents), performs billing (local merchants), collects, maintains and deposits monies, including record-keeping.
Prepares daily practice sheets, technical game strategies and game plays in a constrained amount of time during In-Season.
Assists Strength Coach in managing off-season weight training program by daily input of athletes' data into computerized system, creating next day's lift information, record-keeping, statistical results, and distribution to athletes.
Coordinates planning of special events: clinics, conferences, post-game receptions, end-of-season banquet, 3-day football alumni reunion, Chapter banquet. Includes scheduling, invitations, seating arrangements, ticket monies and acting as liaison to Catering and Facilities Management.
Assists with and manages recruiting process for other sports, including producing, stuffing and processing mailings.
Conducts follow-up correspondence as required during the recruiting year, updating recruiting database. (M&W Track, W Volleyball, W Ice Hockey, M Lacrosse, M&W X-Country, Running, M&W Nordic Skiing, M&W Alpine Skiing as required).
Manages all correspondence necessary for various fund-raising efforts.
Creates and maintains rosters, athlete's mailing information, using sports data information and AS400 core system.
Creates and maintains sport-specific alumni database. Uses same to perform alumni mailings and correspondence.
Creates and maintains database with parent information used for correspondence.
Handles NCAA ranking information: compiling statistics, preparing and sending correspondence.
Manages "home" invitational events: all registration applications, correspondence, literature, performs draw, prepares program and coaches packets, and compiles result statistics (Fall & Spring Tennis).
Inputs "home" meet entries into "Track on a Mac" computer system (approximately 500 entries). Enters participants, events, times and performance and updating until meet day (Track & Field: Winter & Spring).
Assists with registration and support for special regional, state, and conference events.
Assists Commons Associate with correspondence, tracking member information and special events.
Manages office on a day-to-day basis and prioritizes workload from numerous coaches.
Handles all forms of correspondence for coaches.
Maintains and distributes funds for 099 budget account.
Transcribes dictated letters using dictaphone.
Assists and trains coaches on computer software.
