Primary Purpose

The Athletics Department invites applicantions for the Assistant Football Coach position. This position is benefits eligible with an annual salary of $31,650.

Responsibilities

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.

The ideal candidate must be able to coach a position independently. Other duties on the football staff will include recruiting, preparation of game plans, academic advising, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. In the off-season, other duties to be assigned by the Director of Athletics, possibilities include teaching Physical Education classes, assisting in a second sport, and Event Management.

Education & Training

Experience

2-3 years coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.

Knowledge

A thorough and demonstrated knowledge of coaching football.

Other

The ability to communicate effectively written and orally with prospective student-athletes. Must have the ability to support the mission of academic and athletic excellence at Middlebury College.
