The Employer Relations Coordinator administers and supports the day-to-day on- and off-campus recruiting logistics for undergraduates and the Summer Language School Program.

Responsibilities

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.

 

  • Manages MOJO-the Colleges online mission critical recruiting database, while supporting the departments overall Recruiting and Senior Programs.
  • Responsible for the updating, maintenance, and management of the MOJO database.
  • Devises and implements methods to enhance research and records support for MOJO database.
  • Provides support to staff for report generation and makes recommendations for procedural changes.
  • Acts as primary liaison to CSO staff, recruiters, and students for online database needs.
  • Provides research assistance as needed.
  • Coordinates all on campus recruiting activities in collaboration with Scheduling Office, Media Services, Catering, The Campus newspaper and Mailing Services.
  • Communicates frequently by phone and e-mail to students, departments, CSO staff, parents, alumni, and other constituencies pertaining to employment-related programs of interest.
  • Creates, implements, tracks and enforces I. Student Compliance with the required 4 Senior steps (Recruiting Guidelines and signed Code of Conduct), and II. Employer compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Form (signed and filed).
  • Markets CSO recruiting events, information session, resume collections, etc. to students via MOJO targeted e-mail reminders.
  • Assists in tracking and maintaining office statistics and assists in preparing reports of CSO activities.
  • Mails employer confirmation letter, password, and instructions with CSO portfolio.
  • Maintains File materials on each employer.
  • Compiles statistics for on/off-campus recruiting, resume referrals, apply-directs and Immediate Job Page.
  • Hires, trains, and supervises student workers to assist in recruiting.
  • Assists in off-campus consortia and related events as needed.
  • Meets regularly with recruiting team and CSO staff to discuss recruiting/office policy, process and outcomes.
  • Participates in all office-wide programs as requested; fills in for front desk receptionist when needed.
  • Arrives early to orientate employers, assign rooms, and answer questions in the most professional manner.
  • Prepares in advance all materials needed by visiting employers: parking permits, interview schedules, employer feedback forms, door signs and room assignments.
  • Supports all Senior Program events and activities as needed.
  • CMS content provider to CSO Web site in absence of the Technology Coordinator.
  • Performs yearly Senior Survey and other student surveys as needed.
  • Administers and supports the day-to-day on- and off-campus recruiting logistics for undergraduates and the Summer Language School Program.
  • Regularly performs other CSO duties as assigned by Associate Director and Executive Director.

Education & Training

 

  • Bachelor's Degree a plus.

Experience

 

  • Experience with data management and event coordination vital.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years administrative experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, Adobe Filemaker Pro, preferred.

 

Knowledge

 

  • Computer knowledge essential, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet navigation.


 

Other

 

  • Excellent communication, administrative and computer skills, including keyboard proficiency required.
  • Must be an effective team member and be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, and comfortable learning new technologies and applications.
  • Must be pro-active, highly reliable and able to speak with high level alumni and professionals.
  • Familiarity with a College work environment and constituents served by a career office helpful.
