Primary Purpose |
|
Manage all alumni chapter and region activities and interaction with the College; manage the 50th reunion program; manage and maintain alumni and chapter web pages.
|
Responsibilities |
Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.
- Provide support to alumni chapter and regional volunteers by assisting chapter officers with event procedures, following the guidelines set by Alumni and Parent Program Office and the MCAA Board; facilitate event needs: printing, mailing, vendor contracts; set up online response mechanism; record responses and ensure information is put into database following event; as appropriate, analyze event constituency.
- Maintain alumni and parent program web pages; online calendar of alumni events; chapter web pages including event announcements.
- Oversee spring admissions receptions and fall welcome gatherings; collaborate with volunteers on arrangements for events; facilitate the invitation production and mailing.
- Provide general support for on-campus events-reunion, homecoming, fall family weekends, golf tournament; process registration forms, assign housing, assist on site during events
- Manage the 50th reunion program and activities by recruiting volunteers for various aspects of program; collaborates with volunteers to develop weekend program.
- Staff 50th reunion program on-campus; coordinate registration, housing, and catering; recruit and supervise student volunteers for weekend.
- Develop 50th reunion publications, including directories, newsletters and informational mailings; coordinate all aspects of 50th reunion yearbook, including arrangements for work sessions on campus with volunteer committee; facilitate the production of yearbook.
- Serve as administrative support to Middlebury College Alumni Association Board of directors; prepare all correspondence and meeting materials; arrange on campus and off campus meetings.
- Respond to alumni and parent requests.
- Provide general project and planning support as needed.

High School diploma required. College preferred. Expertise in word processing, knowledge of database systems and computer applications
