Primary Purpose |
|
Manages twenty-fifth reunion social program; manages continuing education program logistics. Assists the Senior Associate Director in setting program goals and priorities for on-campus alumni functions. Implements, assesses, and ensures the successful operation of these programs.
|
Responsibilities |
Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.
Plan and coordinate the 25th Reunion social program.
Recruit, train and manage class volunteers.
Produce reunion publications designed to increase attendance and participation, including yearbook, directory, newsletters, and informational mailings.
Handle requests from 25th reuners.
Collaborate with 25th Reunion fundraising staff to ensure a consistent and organized approach to contact with volunteers.
Coordinate logistics for Alumni College programs. Manages annual on-campus event as well as at least one off-campus program per year.
Collaborate with Alumni College Academic Director to develop programs of educational interest to constituents.
Manages the production of marketing materials to promote programs.
Monitor budget and assess expenses and revenue.
Oversees vendor payments, contracts and other financial details.
Ensures that event costs fall within allotted budgets.
Coordinate all logistics to achieve seamless event.
Evaluate programs, using out-come assessment tools, to determine value for constituent, value for College and achievement of purpose.
Performs other duties as assigned to assist the department in obtaining and maintaining its mission.

Education & Training |
|
Bachelor'e degree or comparable work experience required.
|
Experience |
|
3-5 years of previous experience in a service-oriented field is required. Alumni Relations/College Advancement experience is preferred. Must have demonstrated success in motivating and directing volunteers.

Knowledge |
Superior interpersonal and communications skills required.
Strong aptitude for computers is essential.
Must have the ability to manage multiple and competing ongoing projects.

Other |
|
Must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Flexibility and a high energy level are essential. Extensive weekend work and occasional travel required.
