Primary Purpose |
Maintains and updates biographical information on the College's computer information systems in support of College Advancement programs; enhances the College's constituent biographical records through print and electronic sources.
|
Responsibilities |
Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.
• Updates information on College data systems in response to information received through returned mail, e-mails, phonathons, online alumni directory, web update forms, the clipping service and other sources. • Performs follow-up research and communicates directly with alumni and other constituents to verify and enhance biographical information in the College’s data systems, including on-going searches for lost alumni. • Collaborates with other departments and campus offices on information gathering processes on constituents. • Responds to internal and external biographical research requests. • Assists with the training and supervision of student workers. • Assists other College Advancement staff during times of high volume. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Training |

High school diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.

Experience |
|
2-4 years experience with computer information systems.

Data entry speed and accuracy; strong attention to detail; ability to adapt to various computer information systems and changing technology; ability to work independently; good verbal and written communication skills.
