Primary Purpose

Manage, train, and direct the efforts of paid student callers to promote and increase alumni participation and financial support of the annual fund. Oversee Senior Class Gift effort and implement undergraduate annual fund awareness. Manage fundraising efforts for post 50th Reunion classes.

Responsibilities

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.

 

  • Recruit, train, develop and motivate 25 - 30 student callers to achieve maximum alumni participation and giving levels.
  • Train and supervise student phonathon managers.
  • Manage data segmentation and pre-call marketing, coordinate affinity, and event follow up calls, research outdated phone numbers and emails, coordinate paper, email, and phone solicitations.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of phonathon results to identify strengths and weaknesses of program and modify strategies as necessary.
  • Manage Senior Class Gift including volunteer recruitment and training, supervision of gift choice and coordination with administration; coordinate informational meetings between senior committee and senior administrators; oversee senior intern and collaborate with Alumni Relations Intern on Senior Committee events.
  • Prepare and retain phonathon callers and senior committee for future alumni class volunteer leadership.
  • Develop and implement undergraduate annual fund awareness program.
  • Manage fundraising efforts of post 50th Reunion classes.
  • Must work evenings and weekends.

Education & Training

Bachelor degree required, Middlebury College degree preferred.

Experience

2 - 3 years experience of progressive responsibility in student supervision; excellent interpersonal and technical skills; strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion. Must be flexible and a strong team member, as well as possess the ability to work independently.
