Recruits and hires student/part-time workers to supplement full-time staff in the operation of the retail area of the College Store.
Tests and assists in the implementation of new technologies to assist or enhance the operation of the store.
Ensures the operation of the ID Card System as related to the store's daily operations.
Processes mail and catalog orders for shipping.
Operates POS terminals as required.
Balances accounts and enters data on all computer purchases onto the AS/400.
Communicates with Accounting and ITS staff to resolve any balance discrepancies.
Assists computer sales with daily cash-up as needed.
Trains new employees in the operation of the POS system.
Maintains inventory, pricing and stocks merchandise.
Fills campus departmental orders and ensures their correct accounting.
Assists customers and co-workers as needed.
Answers phone and provides backup for administrative staff as required.
Assists in the production of the annual merchandise catalog.
Works with outside vendors to ensure the correct receipt and billing for store merchandise.
Assists with year-end inventory.
