Retail Support:
*Responsible for opening and closing the Bookstore
*Responsible for all aspects of customer service.
*Responsible for daily cash-up and safe count.
*Responsible for keeping the retail floor in order and noted items for reorder: supply items, candy, snacks, magazines and drinks by stocking the retail floor completely one time per week or more frequently as needed, and daily during busy periods, or more frequently as needed.
Processes magazine credit sheets on returns.
Maintains TOP 50 List of items that should always be in stock.
Develops a systematic approach to inventory and ordering to ensure items are in stock.
Reviews supply inventory list in Irma monthly and inventory accordingly.
Responsible for receiving, checking in, and pricing of merchandise.
Responsible for entering department charges.
Assists Retail Coordinator in any manner requested.
Operations Support:
Inputs pricing information into POS so items scan at register.
Gathers Bread Loaf merchandise at times when needed.
Inputs department charges.
As needed, files invoices and credits when complete.
As needed, reconciles daily cash up sheets creating a daily sales report DSR.
As needed, set up of extra cash drawers for start of each semester.
Assists in overseeing student and part-time workers as needed.
Answers phone and provides backup for administrative staff as required.
Assists with web and mail orders as needed.
Assists with year-end inventory.
Assists Operations Coordinator in any manner requested.
Other duties as assigned.
