Primary Purpose |

Assists in the preparation of quality baked goods for the student board menu, catered events and for cash operations.
|
Responsibilities |
Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.
*Prepares pies, donuts, cakes, breads, cookies and other bakery goods according to order forms. *Prepares and sets up on platters baked goods for catering functions. Researches and introduces new bread and dessert items for board plan and catering. *Cleans work area according to sanitation standards to include equipment, ovens, counters and floors.
Performs other duties as assigned to assist the department in obtaining and maintaining its mission.

Education & Training |
|
High school diploma or equivalent required.
|
Experience |
|
Requires prior baking experience, preferably institutional baking.
|
Knowledge |
|
Sanitation training required.
|
Other |
Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to push and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently. This job requires long periods of standing. Also requires frequent bending and twisting motions and manual activities.
