*Supervises and oversees all phases of meal production, works with all kitchen personnel to ensure proper quality and quantity of food production and meal preparation in a timely manner.
*Trains and supervises all staff in proper food preparation and services.
*Prepares cash reports and cashes out at closing; completes daily log books and cash deposits.
*Prepares all necessary reports and ensures that they are delivered on a timely basis.
Ensures that machines and equipment are maintained on a daily basis.
Prepares daily inventory of all food and supply items, maintaining par stocks.
*Ensures that all food items are stored in a safe and sanitary manner.
Ensures that the dining area is cleaned and straightened.
*Oversees work area and trains new staff members as necessary; directs work assignments of other staff as necessary.
May fill in line coverage due to absences, illnesses or vacations.
Ensures all payroll is accurate, signed and recorded.
