Directs the daily operations of the golf course, which includes:
Golf course maintenance areas and course playability (course set-up).
Driving range operation.
Golf cart operation.
Pro Shop operations, including merchandise sales and ordering.
All golf tournaments and club activities.
Prepares budgets and sets prices.
Develops new plans and improvements.
Determines new equipment needs and capital budget items.
Determines staffing needs: hires, trains and evaluates staff.
Assigns and prioritizes work for all staff members.
Ensures that facility is properly maintained and is in top condition.
Gives golf lessons to members and non-members.
Helps recruit and coach varsity golf teams.
Coordinates all aspects of College Physical Education golf instruction.
Represents course at State Pro-Am Golf tournaments.
Promotes golf to Middlebury alumni, prospective students and their parents.
Promotes golf to Middlebury community.
Oversees the Middlebury Junior Golf Association.
