Primary Purpose

Provide weekend night transportation to the College. Drive a specific route on campus Friday and Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. during the academic year.

Responsibilities

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.

Responsibilities include:

Knowledge of College rules, regulations and department policies.
Maintain reports and drivers log and operate vehicle"s handicapped lift.
Communicate via radio with the Public Safety Office.

Education & Training

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Driving experience required, experience driving long hours preferred.

Knowledge

Knowledge of Middlebury College Buildings and roads preferred. Knowledge of radio ten codes.

Other

Must have valid Vermont Driver"s License. Must be able to deal with issues and confidential information with discretion. Must pass a background investigation. Needs to go through the College Driving Course to receive a license to drive one of the College"s 15 passenger vans.
