Primary Purpose |
|
· Responsible for the overall planning, organization, direction, and leadership of the administrative and operational activities of the Registrar’s Office.
· Responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity and security of all student academic records.
· Develops and implements administrative policies and procedures to facilitate the timely, accurate, and efficient provision of services to Middlebury’s various constituencies.

Responsibilities |
Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.
· Responsible for the day-to-day management of staff, services, resources, and budgets in the Registrar’s Office.
· Directs the office in the context of institutional priorities and supports the mission of the College.

Education & Training |
|
Master's degree.
|
Experience |
|
At least five years experience with academic records, including three years as a Registrar or Associate Registrar.
|
Knowledge |
|
Knowledge of FERPA and other relevant federal policies affecting student records; knowledge of accepted higher education practices, best practices related to the work of a college registrar. Technical expertise with Web registration services (SCT Banner experience preferred). Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications. Experience working successfully with students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Knowledge of Middlebury College academic policies and procedures.
