Primary Purpose

Designs and prepares for printing various College publications, forms and documents.

Responsibilities

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.

*Meets with clients to discusss nature of work, elements of design and appropriateness of style.

*Creates computer-generated artwork and designs for various publications and documents and keeps files current.

*Designs and updates various forms as necessary.

*Keeps abreast of technological advances within the graphic arts industry.

Performs other related duties as requested, including miscellaneous printing production tasks.

Education & Training

High school diploma required. Advanced training or equivalent experience in graphic design preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of graphic arts experience preferred. Print shop experience helpful.

Knowledge

Understanding of Macintosh-based graphic software including Photoshop, Quark, PageMaker, Illustrator or Freehand preferred.

Other

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer service orientation.
