A note from the alumni editor
Dear Class Correspondents,
The days are sunny but definitely getting colder, which reminds us that winter can’t be too far away. Please remember the deadline for the winter issue is October 1.
You have all been doing a wonderful job of keeping classmates connected to Middlebury. As the College works towards being carbon neutral in 2016, more ways of communicating electronically are being explored and there may be some opportunities soon for you to add an online component to your class notes. Meanwhile, many classes are setting up Facebook pages with the help of the Alumni Office and those correspondents who have already been using Facebook say it’s a great way to gather news. Other correspondents have had good success with e-mail and still others swear by the old standby, the phone call. However you get in touch with classmates, your connections are important to Middlebury.
So, once again, thank you for serving as a class correspondent. Your volunteer time means a great deal to us at the Magazine and to the College as well. Our alumni are an important part of the Middlebury community and we’d like to see as many as possible represented in the class notes. We couldn’t do that without your help!
