Getting to Middlebury
Located in west-central Vermont, Middlebury is a 2 1/2 hour drive from Montreal, about 4 hours from both Boston and Hartford, 5 hours from New York City, and 6 1/2 hours from Philadelphia. The Center for International Affairs is located at 148 Hillcrest Road off Route 125 (see below).
If you choose to fly, Burlington International Airport is 50 minutes from campus and is served by Continental, Delta, Independence Air, JetBlue, Northwest, United, and USAirways. Taxi service between Middlebury and Burlington is available, and there is a Vermont Transit (Greyhound affiliate) bus stop in Middlebury.
From Route 7:
From the center of the town of Middlebury, travel West on Rte. 125. Travel uphill through the campus of Middlebury College. Be aware of a jog left in the road at the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
At the top of the hill, turn left at the blinking yellow light onto Hillcrest Road. The Robert A. Jones '59 House is light gray, the last house on the right, across from the tennis courts, and next to the cemetery.
From Route 30:
Travel north on Rte. 30 past golf course, field house, and center for the arts. On the left is a drive with stone pillars on each side. Enter here and bear right onto Old Stone Row to the end of the street. Turn left onto Rte. 125W and continue to the top of the hill with the blinking light and proceed as above.
From Route 125:
Travel east on Rte 125 to Middlebury. At top of hill at blinking yellow light, turn right onto Hillcrest Road. See balance of directions, above.
