The Rohatyn Center for International Affairs disseminates current, multi-disciplinary research through its Working Papers Series. Working Papers are published both in hard copy and electronically (pdf format) on the RCFIA web site. We encourage paper submissions from all disciplines that—consistent with the mission of the Rohatyn Center for International Affairs—examine some element of international affairs including theoretically driven, empirically based, and policy oriented papers. Publication decisions are made by the Series and Executive editors after external review.
Each Working Paper remains the intellectual property of the author. It is our goal to preserve the author's ability to publish the work elsewhere, and to that end we provide links and editorial policy statements on prior publication for leading journals. In general, most journals do not consider publication in working paper format or web posting to constitute prior publication. We do request that you acknowledge the RCFIA working paper series in subsequent publication.
Submissions may be via electronic attachment (Microsoft Word format preferred). The author's name should be on a separate cover page, but not on the body of the text. Electronic submissions should be sent to the editor at cfiaeditor@middlebury.edu.
