How does Drop / Add work in Banner?
You are able to drop a course via Banner Web any time during the registration process up to the end of the Add period.
After the web registration period ends, adding courses requires a green add card and the signature of the course instructor and the adviser.
In addition, dropping courses in the final three weeks of the Drop Period, after the Add Period has ended, requires a yellow drop card and the signature of both the instructor and your adviser.
