Pay Level Criteria
- Requires no previous training or special skills other than basic computer skills
- Requires minimum and finite on-the-job training
- Does not require supervision of others
- Requires some independence, but also some supervision
Specific Responsibilities
- Sell tickets and merchandise.
- Answer phones.
- Field customer inquiries and problems.
- Count and balance cash drawers, including credit cards and online payment gateway funds.
- Prepare and deliver deposits to cashier's office.
- Update mail lists.
- Assist with distribution of posters, brochures, etc.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Other related duties as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned to assist the department in obtaining and maintaining its mission.
- Maintain poster display area.
- Represent Middlebury College to the community.
Sales or Cashier experience helpful. Retail experience a plus. Flexible work schedule. Some evenings and weekends required.
