To accommodate for the short workweek during the week of Thanksgiving, a few changes have been made by the payroll office with regard to time entry/approvals and paycheck distribution. This change in the time entry deadline is critical to the early payroll processing.
Deadline for submitting time is Thursday 11/16/06 by 5:00pm or earlier if requested by your supervisor. (This includes Web time entry and temporary pay cards).
The pay period dates are still 11/6 to 11/19, so if you are scheduled to work on the 17th, 18th, or 19th, you can enter those hours onto your time sheet (unless otherwise instructed by your supervisor). If you end up working different hours than those entered, adjust your time sheet the following pay period.
Paychecks and direct deposits will be issued and dated on Wednesday 11/22/06.
(You must have signed up for direct deposit in time for your check on November 10th to prenote, or test the account. Otherwise you will receive a paper check in your box on Wednesday the 22nd).
