SCHOLARS PROGRAM
PURPOSE
To encourage African American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences.
AWARD
$2,500 maximum for freshmen; $3,000 maximum for sophomores, juniors, seniors

ELIGIBILITY
- African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American
- US citizen or permanent resident
- Freshman, sophomore, junior majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, or chemically-related sciences
- Able to demonstrate evidence of financial need according to FAFSA form
- Strong academic record; able to demonstrate financial need
NOTE: students planning careers in medicine are not eligible.
