BRYAN AND NUQUIST AWARDS
- PURPOSE
- To promote excellence in student research on Vermont topics.
- AWARD
- George Bryan Award for excellence in a project on a Vermont topic completed for a one-semester course, emphasis to be placed on creativity, analysis and quality of presentation (15-25 pp.) --- $50.00.
- Andrew E. Nuquist Award for outstanding research on a Vermont topic (a culminating study), emphasis to be placed on creativity, analysis, and quality of presentation as well as evidence of comprehensive and systematic research --- $100.00.
- SUBJECT
- Writing on Vermont topics.
- ELIGIBILITY
- All college and university undergraduate students are eligible for the competition. Each project must be nominated by the supervising faculty. Projects must have been completed within calendar year 2005.
- APPLICATION AND INFORMATION
- Each project must be nominated by the supervising faculty member.
- Application must include: cover sheet, recommendations, project abstracts, and the project.
- DEADLINE
- Letter of intent requested by February 1, 2006; March 1, 2004, for application packet.
