j.w. SAXE Memorial Prize for Public Service
J.W. SAXE MEMORIAL PRIZE FOR PUBLIC SERVICE
PURPOSE To enable students gain practical experience in public service through a no-pay or low-pay job or internship experience during a summer or other term. Preference given to applicants who have already found such a position but who require additional funds.
AWARD $2,000
ELIGIBILITY
- undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited college or university;
- seeking support for an internship in public service, not general support;
- demonstrated public service activity -- past, present and/or future;
- financial need will be taken into consideration.

APPLICATIONS AND INFORMATION Send resume, essay describing short and long term goals, three recommendations, at least one of which is from a faculty member, to:
