THE WESTON A. CATE, JR. RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

PURPOSE
- To encourage research in Vermont history: support in a one-year research project pertaining to any aspect of Vermont history.

AWARD
- $1,200 stipend; serious consideration for publication in Vermont History magazine for wining essays. Final project expected at conclusion of fellowship period of one year from date of award.

ELIGIBILITY
- All individuals.

SUBJECT
- Vermont History. Proposal should if possible involve use of Vermont Historical Society collections in library and/or museum. Applications that address topics designed to fill gaps in the state's history will be favored.
