Jack Kent COOKE Graduate Scholarship

August 10, 2009:  The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation has recently announced that they will no longer be offering this scholarship.  Here is the text of their notice:

The Foundation, like other endowed institutions, experienced significant financial losses in 2008 and early 2009, and as a result, we faced difficult choices regarding the future of some of our programs.

The Foundation has decided that, going forward, we will select new graduate scholars only from a pool of our college and undergraduate transfer scholarship recipients. These scholarship recipients will be eligible to apply for a one-time award of up to $50,000 to support their graduate or professional studies.
