Posters on the Hill
Middlebury College is a member of the The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR). Each year in the Spring CUR hosts its annual undergraduate poster session on Capitol Hill. This event helps members of Congress understand the importance of undergraduate research by talking directly with the students whom these programs impact. ICPSR Undergraduate Research Paper Competition
Middlebury College is a member of the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) which sponsors two undergraduate research paper competitions. The purpose of these competitions is to highlight the best undergraduate student research papers using quantitative data. Up to three cash prizes will be awarded for each competition, and the deadline for submission is May 31, 2009.
The Lake Champlain Research Consortium Research Award
Middlebury College is a member of the Lake Champlain Research Consortium which is offering one research award for up to $5400 for an undergraduate student enrolled at an LCRC member institution to do research with a faculty member at an LCRC institution.
