Middlebury College had a very exciting year during 2007–08, with our admissions applications reaching a record high and the College embarking on new and prominent initiatives. This year promises to be just as exciting, and we are looking forward to welcoming another outstanding first-year class to the College. As outlined in the statistics that follow, we had a great group of applicants from which to choose, and we found ourselves marveling not only at the strength of those students who were admitted, but also at the strength of those placed on the waiting list. Once again, our incoming students represent an extraordinarily diverse and engaging group of undergraduates, assembled from across the country and around the world. As always, our international applicants are inspirational and thriving scholars from all corners of the world. Here is a look at how the class came together.
