Nabokov’s Conjectures on Immortality
The Twin City Chapter of the Middlebury College Alumni Association cordially invites you to join alumni, parents, and friends for an evening with Middlebury College Professor of Russian, Dr. Sergei Davydov at the Russian Art Museum. Professor Davydov has taught at Middlebury, Yale, Bryn Mawr, Princeton, and U.C. Berkeley and writes primarily on the works of Nabokov and Pushkin.
Professor Davydov’s lecture will draw from his vast knowledge of Russian Literature, and from his unique perspective of having had his grandfather executed, and father imprisoned for over a decade, by the Communist Party.
Professor Davydov’s appearance will coincide with the highly anticipated exhibit, Raising the Banner: The Art of Geli Korzhev.
