Alumni Achievement Award

One or more awards are presented to alumni each year by the Middlebury College Alumni Association to recognize outstanding and distinguished achievement in one's personal life, professional field and/or volunteer capacity. (Awards are not presented in absentia, so the time and place of the award presentation may vary.) Any individual carried on the rolls of the MCAA is eligible to receive the award except (1) honorary alumni, (2) previous recipients of honorary degrees, (3) current members of the Board of Trustees of the College, and (4) members of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association.

Young Alumni Achievement Award

Since 1988, this Award, similar in nature to the Outstanding Achievement Award, has served as a vehicle to honor individuals who have graduated within fifteen years of the date of selection, for outstanding and distinguished achievement in their personal lives, professional fields and/or volunteer endeavors. Any individuals who have graduated within the past fifteen years, and are carried on the roles of the MCAA, are eligible to receive this Award. Exceptions to this are current members of the Board of Trustees of the College and current members of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association.
