From the moment your first-year student enrolls at the College, you are part of the Middlebury family. Your son or daughter may have graduated, but your connection to Middlebury continues. You will always be part of the Middlebury community. We encourage you to join us for events on and off campus. You are welcome to travel with Middlebury faculty and alumni, to take a course at Alumni College, to cheer on Middlebury teams, and to visit us any time.
Joining our Middlebury Parents group on Facebook gives you the opportunity to connect with present or past parents to share news, tips, and advice. You can also receive updates and information about Middlebury by liking / following both the College and Midd Alum on social media:
- Middlebury College on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Midd Alum on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
In late summer each year, Middlebury brings together alumni, parents, and friends with some of its finest professors. It's a chance to experience the College at its best and explore fascinating topics with faculty members who are eager to share their knowledge and passion. Participants stay at the Bread Loaf mountain campus in Ripton, Vermont. Learn more about Alumni College.
Middlebury offers a wide range of events—from lectures and museum tours to social gatherings—in cities around the country. Parents are welcome to attend, and we hope you will join us at one this year.
Current parents receive the College's award-winning magazine four times a year. Many parents want to continue reading the magazine after their children graduate; you can do so online at www.middmag.com. You can also continue receiving the print edition through our voluntary subscription program.
Middlebury is thrilled to invite you to our annual Fall Family Weekend! Come enjoy Vermont October 13–15 for fun fall festivities such as lectures, tours, athletic events, music and dance, brilliant autumn foliage, and lots of cider and donuts.
Whether reconnecting with old friends as you watch the Middlebury Panthers play on Youngman Field, or carving a pumpkin with your children, there are wonderful memories to be made during Fall Family Weekend.
