Earle and Betty Layer Hoyt,of Flagstaff, Arizona, make summer trips to view grizzly bears amid spectacular scenery at Brooks Lodge in Alaska's Katai National Park. They reach this remote site by several conveyances, including a float plane. Earle is an accomplished photographer.
