This fall, the Class of 2008 chose to designate our senior gift in support of restoration of the historic Reading Room in Starr Library, as part of the new Axinn Center. The new building, a combination of new construction and careful restoration, will open by May.
Starr Library--and its historic Reading Room--opened in 1900 in celebration of the College's centennial. Our class gift will support expert restoration to its early 20th century appearance. |
