Spring Teams Headed To Post-Season

5/2/05 - Post-season play begins for five Middlebury College teams this weekend. The men's and women's lacrosse teams will host the NESCAC Championships this weekend, while the softball team will take part in the NESCAC Tournament at Tufts. Both tennis teams were selected to take part in the NCAA Tournament and will both host NCAA Regionals this weekend. The women will take on Vassar on Saturday, with Williams and Bowdoin meeting in the other match-up. The winners will meet in the regional final on Sunday. The men drew a first-round bye and will host the winner of the Amherst/Bates match (played at Middlebury on Friday) on Saturday in the regional final.
