Women's Teams Host Girl Scouts

Several Middlebury College women's athletic teams were busy on January 28th as they hosted local girl scouts for a day on campus. Members of Middlebury's softball, lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, basketball, swimming and women's hockey teams were all involved with the event.
The girl scouts were exposed to six different sports, learning the fundamentals of softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, basketball and swimming. The idea was to introduce girl scouts to the sports, with hopes of sparking an interest for them to pursue as they continue to learn and grow.
