The New England Small College Athletic Conference announced its Winter All-Sportsmanship Team for each winter sport sponsored by the conference. The All-Sportsmanship Team is composed of one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and is selected by the players and coaches from their respective team for their positive contributions to sportsmanship.

Middlebury has released a short video for the national You Can Play campaign, which promotes inclusion and diversity for all athletes, coaches, staff, and fans.

2/22/14

The NESCAC is one of the most competitive conferences in the country. With that being said, the students from the Conference's member institutions would like to show unity in how we represent and cheer for our schools, as well as how we all compete against each other. The students who wear the "We are NESCAC" shirts to this afternoon's men's basketball NESCAC quarterfinal game against Hamilton will be given free admission. There will also be a sportsmanship statement read by a student-athlete at halftime.

It's been another solid beginning to the winter season for Middlebury College Athletic teams. The Panthers boast the second-ranked women's ice hockey team in the country with a 6-1 mark and the lone setback at the hands of the top-ranked team. Men’s basketball sits at 6-2 and is currently ranked No. 18 in Division III.
