The Middlebury College women's volleyball team saw its season come to an end with a 3-1 (25-15, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17) loss to Williams in a NESCAC quarterfinal match-up at Tufts. The Panthers end their season with a 15-11 record, including eight wins in their final 10 matches of the season.
Meg Murphy scored with 12 minutes and 47 seconds left Saturday to break a scoreless tie and send second-seeded Amherst to a 1-0 win over third-seeded Middlebury in the NESCAC semifinals. Middlebury ends its season at 8-6-2.
The Middlebury College field hockey team will makes its sixth consecutive and ninth overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament in a regional at Bowdoin this weekend. The Panthers will take on the winner of the N.E.C/Lebanon Valley (Weds.) game on Saturday, November 15th at 2:00.

The Middlebury College men's soccer team will make its ninth NCAA Tournament appearance on Saturday, November 15th when they host a regional on campus. The Panthers will take on Framingham State at 11:00, while Clark meets Norwich in the other match-up at 1:30. The regional final will take place on Sunday at 1:00.
Middlebury outgained Tufts 482-173 on the day as the Panthers ended their season with a 38-24 win over the Jumbos on Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium. Middlebury ends it season third in the NESCAC with a 5-3 mark, while the Jumbos fall to .500 at 4-4 on the year. The Panthers held a 24-6 advantage in first downs and a 37-23 lead in time of possession.
